In August 2024, Kia America sold an impressive 75,217 units, outpacing its previous records and solidifying its place as a market leader. This represents a 4% increase compared to the same period last year, showcasing the brand's ability to not only maintain but also grow its market share in a competitive industry. The surge in sales was driven by the increasing popularity of Kia's SUV lineup, which saw a 9% rise in sales compared to August 2023. Models like the Seltos, Sportage, Telluride, and Forte set new sales records for the month, underscoring the continued demand for Kia’s versatile and well-engineered vehicles. The Seltos alone experienced a 30% increase in sales, while the Sportage and Telluride posted 23% and 5% gains, respectively.

Electrification Leads the Charge

Kia's commitment to electrification has clearly paid off, with the brand's plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (EV) models experiencing significant sales growth.
