• 2024 Kia Forte: The Forte comes standard with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, delivering a solid 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. If you’re seeking more excitement, however, the Forte delivers with the GT trim. Sporting a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, and your choice of 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the GT is specifically geared for enthusiasts who prefer a more connected driving performance. Regarding fuel economy, the Forte offers up to 34 MPG combined!

• 2025 Kia K4: The K4 largely mirrors the Forte’s engine lineup. The base engine is the same 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, offering the same 147 horsepower. The real star here is the K4 GT-line Turbo trim's turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine, but it has been tuned to 190 horsepower (a slight drop from the Forte GT), yet retains the same torque output at 195 lb-ft. Official fuel economy numbers aren't available, but expect similar numbers to the outgoing Forte.
