In a momentous victory, the North American Car of the Year (NACTOY) jury has awarded the prestigious title of North American Utility Vehicle of the Year on the all-electric Kia EV9 3-row SUV. The EV9's win marks the third instance in the past five years that a Kia vehicle has emerged as the top choice in this highly competitive category. A panel of 50 automotive experts, representing print, online, radio, and broadcast media, meticulously evaluated this year's contenders. The NACTOY jurors, assessing vehicles across diverse categories from sports coupes to pickup trucks, based their judgments on criteria encompassing automotive innovation, design, safety features, performance, technology, driver satisfaction, user experience, and finally, value.

The introduction of the all-new Kia EV9 marks a milestone as the first mass-market three-row EV SUV in the U.S. Priced at a competitive starting MSRP of $54,900, the 2024 Kia EV9 boasts an EPA-estimated 304 miles of all-electric range, 7.8 inches of ground clearance, and a cavernous 81.9 cu.-ft. of cargo room. Currently available for online pre-orders, the 2024 Kia EV9 will also be assembled in the US at KIA's manufacturing facility in West Point, Georgia.
