• KIA has teased the first images of the All-new 2025 KIA K4 Sedan, ahead of its scheduled global premiere at the New York Auto Show, March 27, 2024.
• The 2025 KIA K4 will replace the outgoing KIA Forte, so expect a starting price in the $20,000~$25,000 range.
• The K4 will be available later this year, most likely in Q2 or Q3 of 2024.

Changes in KIA's Lineup

The Korean auto manufacturer has teased the all-new 2025 KIA K4 sedan, and boy does it look like a real beauty. Most of the details of the K4 are hidden behind ominous shadows and mystery, but it seems that the KIA K4 will sport a sloping roofline, giving the K4 a sleek, coupe-like silhouette. The front headlights are also angular and aggressive, reminiscent of the K5's unique lighting. Whereas the discontinued Forte felt playful and youthful, the K4 feels more mature and refined. It looks longer than the Forte and lower to the ground, but only the reveal on March 21st will show us more.

K3, K4, K5, What?

• KIA K3 - Korea-Market version of the KIA Forte
• KIA K4 - Sedan to replace the KIA Forte.
• KIA K5 - Award-winning mid-sized Sedan in KIA's current lineup.

2025 KIA K4 Performance & Specs

Performance and specs details are still under wraps but expect similar numbers to the discontinued Forte! Being the entry-level model in KIA's lineup, it's unlikely the K4 will feature hybrid options, and will most likely be a fun, fuel-efficient gas-only vehicle.

Concluding Thoughts

The KIA Forte has had an amazing run. Offering frugality and a touch of sportiness, the Forte offered a breath of fresh air in a car market surrounded with bloated MSRPs and $35,000+ "entry-level" models. With the Forte riding off to the sunset, it's now up to the K4 to take up the mantle. Will it offer a turbo-ed GT version? Will there be hatchback versions?
